Shown here are a pair of posters that I created in response to research into the history and appearance of wrist watches based on the gender they are designed for. I initially wanted to look at a large range of brands, however the variety in design shapes, sizes... wasn't possible to fit within the design I had planned, so I focused on an individual watch brand, that being Omega. Through this, I created these mash up collage designs that represent the differences in how gender is represented through the semiotic appearance of a selection of watches.
