This publication of Undersea by Rachel L. Carson was adapted by me to create this visually creative piece of editorial work, designed with typography at the centre of each page, with the text creating occasional imagery. The way that the typography is arranged within each page creates hierarchy to represent the overall power of the ocean, but also keeps a fluid motion to guide the reader across each page. The letter pressed book cover I created assists the theme of the article, with a natural shimmery appearance as well as having a shiny almost slippery texture for the audience to feed, adding the depth of a a sensory experience for the reader.
